President Obama's Speech to School Children.

Much hoopla has been made concerning the President's speech to public school children. Is it right? Is it wrong? Is he trying to indoctrinate our children? Is he just trying to encourage them to make the right decisions in their life? etc ....

I personally disagree with most of President Obama's political philosophy. However, like it or not, he is the President. As such there really shouldn't be to much concern about him speaking to children in government run schools.

The public school system kicked God out a long time ago. Since that time the main philosophy that has been pushed upon children has been humanistic in nature. As such, the natural course for the educational system has been towards a socialistic, atheistic indoctrination of children. Any Christian, with a Biblical worldview, who has taken the time to look at the SYSTEM would have to see that.

So even if President Obama was to push his socialistic agenda on school age children, it shouldn't make that big of a difference. They are already getting that type of philosophy for eight hours anyway.

If you are really concerned about what your children are learning, and you should be, then educate them yourself. As a parent it is your God-given responsibility. God did not birth your children to the Federal Government or to the Local Government for that matter. He gave them to you. God will hold YOU responsible for what they believe.

If your children believe that trying to save mother earth is more important than try to reach a lost soul for Jesus Christ, don't blame anyone but yourself. Come out from among them and teach your children the things of God if that is really what is important to you. If it's not, then don't complain about what happens in the Government School System. Just repeat after me.....

I pledge allegiance to the President of the United Socialist States of America, and to the Global Community which he stands for. One mother Earth, under One Global Government, Totally Green, with Education and Health Care for all -- till antichrist shall come.

When was the last time you gave your testimony?

I posted this on my facebook profile. I haven't had any takers yet but I am hopeful. Perhaps you would consider giving your testimony.

We talk about a lot of things here on FB, but I would like for those of you who name the name of Christ to take the time this week to post your personal testimony. How did you come to the personal knowledge of Jesus Christ as your Savior?

Sometimes we underestimate the value of our testimony. We shouldn't. The Apostle Paul, when he stood before King Agrippa, chose not to give some doctrinal disertation, but chose to give his personal testimony to the unregenerated King. If it was good enough for the Apostle Paul, then why shouldn't it be for us.

I'm not going to "TAG" anyone. This is completely voluntary. It doesn't have to be a book. Just give the basic story of how you came to know Christ. If you choose to take the time and give your testimony I will make sure that I repost it on my profile, and everyone else who wants to could do the same. There is no telling how far your testimony may go and no telling who it will reach. Please consider spreading the good news of God's Grace in your life. I will start.


I give God all the glory because I have lived a priviledged life. No I didn't grow up in wealthy family, but I had a dad and mom who both knew the Lord. I grew up going to church and hearing the Bible preached. Because of that, I have had a knowledge of the Bible and the things of God from a young age. That can be a danger, however, because head knowledge of Christ or about God is not enough. There must be a personal relationship with Christ.

I grew up thinking that I was a Christian. I went to church, Chirstian School, and hung around Christian people all my life. I could quote some Scripture verses and even give you the "plan" of salvation if asked. I thought I was certainly a Christian.

However, there were certain events that took place in my life where I can now see that the Holy Spirit was working on my soul. One time an evangelist at church came into our Sunday School room to introduce himself. His name was Jim God. I always thought his name was strange but I know he didn't choose it. Anyway, he came into our class and he asked us a question. "Are you afraid of dying and going to hell?" We didn't answer out loud -- just to ourselves. My initial response was, "yeah, that would be terrible." After allowing us the chance to answer in our hearts, he said this. "If you answered "Yes" then you may not be a Christian, because a Christian has no fear of hell. If you are saved and you know it, hell is not a worry." This caused me to take a step back and look at my salvation, but I didn't do anything about it then.

Another time, about a year later, I was asked to give my testimony in a school chapel service. This created a problem. Mainly -- I didn't have a testimony. I did what any "smart" kid would do -- I made one up. No one noticed, no one except me and the Holy Spirit. Again, I didn't do any thing about it at the time. I wasn't quite sure what to do. I had thought I was saved. Everyone around me thought I was saved, but in my heart I knew I wasn't truly a child of God.

I struggled with the Christian life. I was baptized again. I rededicated my life etc ... It's hard enough living the Christian life as a Christian, but when you're just pretending it's even harder.

Finally, on a Wednesday night service, at Harbor Baptist Temple in Surfside Beach, SC. my dad, who was my pastor as well, preached a message on Proverbs 1:7. The fear of the Lord is the beginning of knowledge, but fools despise wisdom and instruction. I don't remember the exact message he preached, but I remember the message the Holy Spirit preached to me that evening. I realized that I had never really seen God for who He is. I realized for the first time that I, Peter Scheer, Jr., was a sinner headed for hell. This was all information that I knew in my head, but it was the first time it was personal.

There was no more hesitation for me. I knew I had to come clean with God, and myself. That night at church I trusted the Lord as my Savior. The President of the United States didn't know who I was. The Governor of SC didn't know I existed, but the God of Heaven took the time to speak to an eleven year old boys heart and show me I needed to be saved. I've not been the same since.

The story doesn't stop there. That was just the beginning of the great work the Lord has done for me and in me. I am so glad God saves young and old sinners!

To God be the Glory great things He has done.

Party, Politics and Pragmatism or Principle - Where do you stand?

The year 2008 was a turning point for me. My eyes were opened and I saw the light so to speak. I voted for George Bush twice, and both times he won. However, the longer that he was in office, the more I began to see that voting for the lesser of two evils was no longer good enough. A supposedly Conservative President that had a supposedly Conservative Congress for nearly eight years, did little to nothing to return our country to the Constitutional Republic that it is supposed to be.

Massive Government spending, lip service on abortion, deceit in selling a war to the American people, a Patriot Act (ie. supposedly Patriotic) that opens the door to untold government intrusion into the lives of American Citizens, and the list could go on. All of this was done under the watch of a "Conservative" government.

As the 2008 elections neared, I had already made up my mind that I would no longer be a political party lemming and vote for the lesser of two evils. I saw in one Republican candidate the character to go against the grain. This candidate actually mentioned the Constitution when he gave answers to questions. This candidate vocally opposed the North American Union, and was vocally in favor of the USA retaining its sovereignty as a nation. This candidate had in each session of Congress presented a bill that would not only have made Abortion illegal, it also would have taken the issue out of the Supreme Court's jurisdiction. This candidate actually believed that there is no Constitutional authority for the US Dept of Education and a thousand other departments that politicians have created over the years. This candidate believed that the Federal Reserve is a dangerous entity that should be outlawed and a Gold standard re-established. This candidate was an actual LIMITED GOVERNMENT CONSERVATIVE, who believed that the Constitution is the law of the land and no politician, including the President, should be allowed to go around the law of the land. This candidate was called Dr. No by many, because he always votes NO when Congress wants to spend more money unconstitutionally. This candidate was Ron Paul of Texas.

I already knew that the Constitution Party was around and that their candidate would be a true Conservative, and I had determined that if a true Conservative was NOT selected by the Republican Party that my vote would go with their candidate. Ron Paul was called a kook by the talking radio heads and many people followed their lead instead of thinking for themselves. Ron Paul was shut out of one debate by FOX News and was ignored in many of the other debates. Yet, he remained until the end.

Conservative fundamentalists went with Mike Hukabee, who now has a show on FOX, thinking that he was conservative, yet he was willing to pander to the CFR like most of the other politicians. Personally, I believe that Hukabee was in it to keep good Conservative people from voting for Ron Paul. Alas, the Republican Party ended up with John McCain. McCain no doubt was a great soldier and served this country valiantly, however as a politician he has been anything but conservative. He is so liberal that John Kerry approached him and offered him the Vice-Pres. position in 2004. In order to bolster his non-existent conservative credentials, McCain chose a soccer mom Governor from Alaska, Sarah Palin as his Vice-President.

At this announcement and after hearing her speak, many conservatives, like James Dobson, who were riding the fence swooned and decided to support McCain. Many stated plainly that their vote was for Palin and not McCain. However, if Sarah Palin was a true conservative, how could she join the McCain campaign? The answer is simple. Party loyalty and pragmatic politics.

The question that I must ask is this. When do Conservatives begin to once again stand on the principles of their beliefs? Is constitutional conservatism really worth standing for or is it optional?

The majority will say, "Well, if you vote for a third party candidate you're just throwing your vote away." That is exactly the thinking that has led us to the mess that we are in. Too many Democrats and too many Republicans cannot get past their political party to actually cast a vote that comes from their conscience. VOTING YOUR CONSCIENCE IS NEVER A WASTED VOTE! IT IS THE ONLY VOTE WORTH CASTING.

I decided at the beginning of 2008 before the candidates were chosen that I would vote my conscience. I was not going to be pressured by the threat of a Hillary Clinton or a Barack Obama in office, to vote for a Republican Candidate that I had no confidence in. This was especially true in light of the fact that there were great CONSTITUTIONAL Candidates to vote for.

Ron Paul was not chosen by the Republican Party so my decision was simple. Chuck Baldwin of the Constitution Party was still in the mix and his beliefs about our country matched mine so he received my vote. No, he didn't win, and didn't really have much of a chance at all, but when I lay my head on my pillow at night, my conscience is clear because I voted based on the principles that I believe in -- not Party, not Politics, not Pragmatism.

John Quincy Adams said, "Always vote for principle, though you may vote alone, and you may cherish the sweetest reflection that your vote is never lost."

Let us all put PRINCIPLE above petty party political pragmatism.

Welcome to the U.S.S.A.

Welcome to the U.S.S.A.
Since the "November Revolution" when the Communist Party took over our government and began its conversion to "GODvernment" the old United States of America is gone, replaced by a new entity: the United Socialist States of America. Here are some of the differences between these two countries.

The USA was a Republic. The liberals who control the News Mafia, public schools and Hellywood so hated this form of government that they refused to admit it was our true, constitutional government. Therefore, they always referred to the USA as a "Democracy" even though it wasn't. In a Republic everyone is represented. In a Democracy only the majority rules.

The form of government the USSA will have will be neither. It will neither represent everyone nor the majority. Instead, it will start out as an "Oligarchy," which is ruthless rule by a select group of people. (Liberals) This is the government of China. It may later morph into a "Dictatorship" which is ruthless rule by one individual. (Obammie, the Commie) We may never again see a free and fair election in this country.

The citizens of the USA believed in hard work. They believed you had to work hard to get ahead in life.

The citizens of the USSA believe they are going to strike it rich overnight. This is not their fault. They have had 45 years of the "no God" philosophy taught them, while being shown the lives of the rich & famous. They have had fun, sex and pleasure subtly forced into their bloodstream until they cannot think of anything else. They never knew that their school teachers were addicting them to the drug that would destroy them. ("Sworn to Fun! Loyal to None!")

The citizens of the USSA also have been indoctrinated to believe in "GODvernment." Where the citizens of the USA turned to GOD in times of crisis the citizens of the USSA have been taught to turn to the "GODvernment" in times of trouble. So, if they have a financial crisis, or feel they have been discriminated against, or have storm, flood or fire damage they look to their infallible, all-knowing-all-loving "GODvernment" to right their wrong. Why turn to God? He might expect you to live righteously. "GODvernment" rewards unrighteousness. It is our real friend!

In the USA people who worked were looked up to. If they managed to become rich because of their labors they were held up to the public as examples of the rewards of hard work.

Thanks to countless movies that have portrayed all corporate executives as being greedy and corrupt and years of the vile Democrats portraying anyone who was "The Rich" as deserving to be taxed out of existence, the citizens of the USSA all assume that anyone with money came by it dishonestly or unscrupulously and deserve to have it taken by the "GODvernment" and redistributed to "The Poor," a mythical group used by Liberals as an excuse to steal money from citizens but who never get any of the loot.

Citizens of the USA loved it! They knew their country as an innocent, God-fearing nation that helped other countries and fought for right. Its families were pure and its conscience was clear.
Citizens of the USSA have been corrupted. They believe there is nothing pure or good about their country. Filthy Liberal college professors and school teachers, along with Hellywood and the News Mafia, have convinced them that every father has molested his children; every white person is a racist bigot; every company is corrupt; every preacher is a money-grubbing womanizer; every police officer is on the take; every politician is crooked. Citizens of the USSA believe that everything in their country is inferior to that of the rest of the world. Their health care is inferior, their food is inferior, their water is inferior, their cars are inferior; their motives are dishonorable; their desires are corrupt and every hero has a sinister secret. In fact, where men (I said MEN!) were willing to go out and die for the USA, citizens of the USSA believe that the entire nation deserves to be punished and that there is nothing pure worth fighting for.

In the USA the purity of a young lady was almost sacred. Anyone who violated it was vile and should be shamed by all who met him. Any girl who gave herself away was a "whore" and was ostracized.

In the USSA all young girls are taught in school and by Hellywood that they are to be whores! The only goal of all young men and women is sexual pleasure. Anyone who disagrees is to be destroyed. How long will it be before some Hell-deserving Liberal says, "There are no jobs in this country. If we legalize prostitution our young women will all be able to find work."?

Believe it or not, in the USA television made heroes out of those who were, "brave, courageous and true." A hero was good and a villain was evil.

Television in the USSA exalts anything abstract from that which is normal, pure and good. That vile pornographer, Hugh Hefner is exalted as a hero. Daytime television seeks out the lowest forms of life and exalts them as good and acceptable. In the USA homosexuals, psychics, witches, vampires, wizards, sluts and whore-mongers were portrayed in a negative light. Preachers, Police and parents were exalted as good and people to be emulated. In th USSA these vile people are upheld as honorable while the "Three-Ps" are vilified. The framers of the USSA hate anything pure or moral or good.

There was free speech in the USA. People said, "I disagree with what you say but I'll die for your right to say it."

There is no free speech in the USSA. Working as subtle as the Devil who guided them, Liberals decried "Hate Speech." Then they outlawed it. "What moral person could be in favor of Hate Speech? Who would dare defend such a horrible practice?" Strangely though, when a friend of those same Liberals, such as the Muslims, spewed hatred with every word, the two-faced, hypocritical Liberals defended their "free speech rights." In the USSA only "GODvernment-approved" speech is free.

The citizens of the USA had little but where happy. The citizens of the USSA have much but are unhappy. They seek more but cannot get enough. Where those of the USA where gracious and kind, those of th USSA are mean, selfish and dangerous. "GODvernment" apparently hasn't made them a happy people.

The citizens of the USA went to church. Even if it was a church of impure doctrine it generally taught some sense of righteous living and decency.

Citizens of the USSA have been addicted to pleasure and fear the restraint any religious teaching might force on them. They like to call themselves "Spiritual but not religious," a term subconsciously inserted into their seldom-used brains but which they think they thought of themselves. They shun churches. They now have "Wedding Chapels" so they don't have to darken the door of a church to get married. They have "Funeral Chapels" so they can avoid church as their last defiant act. They have replaced God with the earth and define righteousness simply as anything they do. They set up shrines along the roadways to illustrate to the world their "pain" and worthiness of eternal life. While they will deny themselves nothing for God they deny themselves nothing in their quest for pleasure.

Citizens of the USA and USSA agree on one thing. They both think their country should only be inhabited by legitimate citizens. Illegals must go! Unfortunately, to citizens of the USSA, citizens of the USA are considered "illegals."

A Fundamental Failure

I am a Fundamentalist. I believe in the Fundamentals of the Faith. Fundamentalists are my crowd, but I believe that Fundamentalists (myself included) are failing in a great way. When it comes to Politics the majority of Fundamentalists fall into the Conservative Category. One of the tenants of Conservatism is that MORE government is bad and LESS government is better. In my opinion, this is a fundamental belief of conservatism.

In the most recent election America elected THE MOST LIBERAL SENATOR in the Senate to be the President of the United States. This is not my opinion, and has nothing to do with the color of his skin, but is based on his voting record. We know and have already seen the direction that President Obama is going to take our country. One of the FIRST things that he did was open up funding for abortion. Abortion is nothing more than legalized murder. It is awful, despicable, and completely contrary to God's Word.

However, this leads me to my point. Why are born again, Bible believing Christians counting on the Government to eradicate abortion? I know - I know -- every Congressional leader in DC that has supported and promoted abortion WILL answer to God one day, but MORE government is not the answer. Even if we had Legislators pass laws that would hinder abortions from taking place, those laws will not change the hearts of men.

I believe, like many of you do as well, that the Gospel of Jesus Christ is the answer to man's problems. We have an obligation as Christians to reach out to these young girls who seek abortions and even the doctor's who perform them, with the Gospel of Jesus Christ. We cannot wait for a Government Solution. The answer is NOT Government -- the answer is Jesus Christ.

When was the last time that you handed out a gospel tract? When was the last time that you gave your testimony? When was the last time you reached out to a young lady who was in a bad situation and told her about Jesus Christ? When was the last time that you prayed for President Obama that God would open his eyes to the light of the Glorious Gospel? Wouldn't it just mess up the devil's plans if President Obama truly got Born-Again? We must be busy about the Saviors business NOW more than EVER! We must not expect Government to change the hearts of men. We must give this lost and dying world the Gospel of Jesus Christ!

We may want to point the finger at the politicians in Washington, D.C. and say that they are guilty of killing the unborn, but if we neglect to proclaim the Gospel of Jesus Christ (how that He died, was buried, and rose again) then I believe that we are just as guilty. The Failure of Fundamentalism is expecting the laws of Government to do what not even the law of God could do --- Change the Hearts of Men. Where government fails the GOSPEL WILL NOT! Tell someone about Jesus Christ.
